Email Dr. Dance!!

Hi All!

Please join me in asking Dr. Dance to meet directly with Hereford Works to discuss community-wide concerns over the High School Schedule Mandate.  Previously, Dr. Dance has refused invitations from both individual parents and the HerefordWorks.org leadership.  But I believe if enough people invite him to collaborate with our community, he will.  So, please copy and paste below message and email to him.

Also, phone calls can be made.  You can ask him to email HerefordBlockWorks@gmail.com or if you want to have a personal conversation with Dr. Dance, to address your student’s situation put in your name and contact info.  Then please forward to other Hereford High School “stakeholders”.

Dear Dr. Dance,

Please email HerefordBlockWorks@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with HerefordWorks.org.  On January 27, 2014, 256 members of Hereford High School PTSA voted against your Schedule Change Mandate.  We want to tell you why.  Please listen broadly and deeply.

Thank you.

“To create opportunities to listen broadly and deeply to a multitude of stakeholders while proactively ensuring that all voices, not just those who traditionally avail themselves to collaboration with the school system, are heard and engaged in an effort to gain  a comprehensive understanding of BCPS and to build excitement and momentum for BCPS’s vision, mission, and strategic plan.”

HEREFORD HIGH SCHOOL PTSA VOTES 256 TO 1!

The PTSA Voted 256 to 1 against Dr. Dance’s schedule mandate to switch from the semester block schedule to the 8 class A/B schedule.  The semester block schedule has been successful for the past 20 years.  Carroll County and Harford County are switching to the semester block schedule next year!

We have repeatedly asked Dr. Dance to meet with us but according to Dr. Dance, he does not want to engage in conversation at this time.

Please email Dr. Dance!!!!
